- The ramblings of a midnight rambler, honed by necessity, dulled by a culture of servitude. A graduate of the school of hard knocks and university of life. Drowned by fate, saved by optimism. Stumbled into an IT career well over thirty years ago & never looked back. Often opinionated and irascible, but mainly laidback & serene. Always willing to assist if I possibly can. Moulded by a culture of service from childhood. Too ignorant to apologise, and no time to either! Commitment to making a positive change to negative experiences by use of skills, experience and professionalism. Background - I've been involved with computers for over 30+ years, initially as a student/programmer & then as a tutor. I've been self-employed, agency contractor, chief technology officer, manager, director & various roles between. I've setup companies & advised others how to setup and strategise. I've failed, been succesfull, lost my shirt, started from scratch again, and thru it all I've enjoyed it! Currently I am "retired" but just about to enter employment again, and describe myself as an "entrepreneur seeking opportunity".
